Creating Things Help Me Feels Better

I guess it’s been a while since my latest post.
A year, maybe?

Lately, I’ve been doing too much consumption compared to production.
Yes, I always consume things, rather than produce/create stuffs. I’m talking about content in our digital landscape. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Medium, YouTube, websites, etc.

The more I consume, the more I feel there’s something wrong in me.
The more I consume, the more I feel there’s a gap inside me.
The more I consume, the more I find out that there’s an imbalance of emotion.

Until I realize, that I need to produce something, not only consuming it.
I don’t know if there’s any scientific research/theory on this particular subject. But I feel every time I create things, I feel better. I feel that I’m growing and contributing (at least for myself). It can be anything, Instagram post, Facebook status, blogpost, Tweet. Bold and underlined, as long as it’s useful. Not only blabbering around or throwing some random words. 

I don’t really care if others will read my post or not. It is not my point.
I create something to fulfill my inner wants.
I create something to make my life balance.

I guess we’re all born naturally as a creator, not only consumer.
So, when was the last time you create something?
